Lynette first came to sing for us at Thorpe Wood Care Home on New Years Day 2026, we had heard though word of mouth how talented she was and this proved to be true. At Thorpe Wood our residents have an incredible social life filled with many activities but we had never had a Jazz singer before so this was a new venture for all of us, staff, families and residents. Lynette gave a 5***** performance singing lots of songs our residents knew without the words and putting her own beautiful personal touch on every song she sang. Among many songs Lynette has performed for us we particularly liked ‘Blue Moon’ and found ourselves up and dancing along to this tune and many others. Lynette’s singing as described by our lovely residents as ‘smooth Velvet’ I believe that says it all! Lynette is a kind and patient person with such a lovely tone to her voice, I wish Lynette all the luck in the world with her music and I support her 100%

I confirm that I have had the pleasure of having Lynette perform live at the Royal Mail Cart on several occasions, entertaining both our diners and evening audience, and I can honestly say she was absolutely excellent. Lynette delivers the great jazz classics with style, warmth, and real professionalism. Her beautifully husky voice creates a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere that immediately connects with people, and her performances went down wonderfully well with our customers every time she appeared. She has a natural stage presence, superb vocal control, and a genuine ability to engage an audience, whether performing background jazz during dining or more upbeat classics later in the evening. Hello Lynette, Trudy and I would like to say a very big thank you to you for singing at our garden party on the 24th of June 26, when we hosted the June meeting of the KLPG. Your renditions of so many Jazz favourites was a delight to listen to, members were soon tapping their feet and singing along which really did put the top hat on a lovely day.

Lynette, thank you so much for singing at my husband’s big birthday party in our garden, with over 50 guests. Your mellow singing and song selection made the evening even more special. We would love to have you sing for us at our next party.
